Mobile users spend up to 2 hours per day toying with mobile apps

People in U.S.A are forgetting T.V day by day. They prefer mobile apps for entertainment. What can't they not do with mobile. They even can watch t.v on mobile or play games or surf internet. Mobile apps now appear to be one of the biggest time suckers.
New data by blog flurry released by mobile analytics firm.

Mobile users spend up to 2 hours per day toying with mobile apps

It's showing that average US users spend 2 hours and 42 minutes per day on their smart phone. 86% of that time is spent in various mobile applications and the another 14% used on internet surfing. But time in mobile apps is increasing day by day.

Users are spending most time on mobile apps. But the increase of time spent over last year has been relatively less. For 2013, Flurry reported users in America spent 2 hrs and 38 mints per day on their smartphone. It means only four-minute increase in this year.

"The data of blog flurry tells a clear story that apps, which were considered a mere fad a few years ago, are completely dominating mobile, and the browser has become a single application swimming in a sea of apps," Flurry wrote this news in a blog post on Tuesday.

So, what are the apps they are using for time passing. Mostly, they are game's apps and social messaging apps. 32% users time are spent on gaming apps. 28 percent of users are spent on messaging apps, including also youtube.

Flurry gets its data by tracking activity on more than 400,000 apps on more than 1.3 billion mobile devices worldwide.
